Strange Battery Meter
On my Nook ST, the in-book battery meter is wrong.
Right now my battery is at 100%. The battery meter at the top of the screen on the home page is correct... it shows completely full. However, if you're in a book and tap the screen and the battery meter comes it, it's only showing 2/3rds full. |

You are not the only one who has noticed that if it is any comfort. The battery meter on the home screen and in the settings seems to be somewhat more accurate as to the supposed state of the battery charge than the one in the book.
I know we are only talking 600x800 resolution here and 16 scale grey, but can't they move to something like what a lot of tablets have where it is a battery meter with the percentage charge remaining displayed within the graphic? Or heck give the option to just display battery percentage next to a tiny battery icon? |
