Managing two libraries
How do I go about managing two different Calibre libraries using the same computer?

Easily. Calibre can access multiple libraries, you simply switch to whichever you want to work with. Do the two libraries already exist or are you wanting to start a second one and copy books into it? It would be helpful to know exactly what you wish to accomplish to point out the easiest way to do what you want.

One library already exists and the other I have yet to create. How do I create the second library and then switch between them?

Click on the Library icon (the one that looks like the calibre logo) and select "switch/create library". Select a location (create a new folder where you want it) and click the "create empty library" option.
Now, using the same library icon, switch back to the original library (which should show up in the list of libraries under the other options or in the "quick switch" menu). Select the books you want to move or copy to the other library, then right-click > "Copy to library". All your libraries will be listed, and you will have the option to just copy, or copy+delete from original library. |
