Troubleshooting Deleting a book with annotations, will it warn me?

I'm wondering, if I delete a book with annotations, will it warn me? I know that annotations are stored in "My Clippings.txt", but I'd also appreciate a warning before deleting a book.

I'm asking this because I have a lot of personal documents on my device, so if I remove a document, then I assume the annotations are gone for good (except for the small sentence that's been clipped in the .txt file). I transfer my documents via USB rather than email, so that's why they aren't backed up by Amazon.

Thanks; although, I assume that that's only for content archived by Amazon. I sometimes transfer documents via USB so online archiving isn't always available for my documents, unfortunately.
