Calibre & Sony PRS-600

I have had my Sony for a couple of years & love it, but it may be time for an upgrade in the near future

I am very new to Calibre....and totally confused by all the options. Can anyone tell me the simplest way to add books to the sony using Calibre...what settings...where are they, etc?....

I tried to move a couple of books onto the device...it worked, but I got all kinds of garbage....every tag was set as a collection.......

Any help for this newbie would be greatly appreciated

You can control what generates collections on the Sony by going to Preferences->Advanced->Plugins-Device Interface Plugins; select the Sony Device plugin and then the customize plugin option. As you found on default settings tags generate collections. Many people want that, but if you have not limited the tags set up then this may be undesirable.
