New on mobileread

Hey everybody,

I'm Martin from the Netherlands and I am at the age of 49.
Happily married to Jacqueline, living in the lovely village Boxtel with 2 Am-staffs.

My reason to sign up here is we do own 3 readers of Sony.
PRS350 - PRS650 - PRST1.

The latest T1 model is running fast out of battery life and this was after the last firmware update.

So searching this forum will hopefully bring me a solution to extend battery life.

greetings,
Martin

Hey BCGirl,

Thanks for your warm welcome, typical "Brabants".
Some other question, how are the job opportunities in BC (or Vancouver area). We did visit it for a few times and from the 1st time we both felled in love with BC.

groetjes,

Martin

Welcome to mobileread! Hopefully your introduction to mobileread goes smoother than mine; I got reported by users here for having a pic of my scantily clad wife as my sig! :-) Obviously, I wasn't familar with the guidelines here- so read them. Other than that, welcome!

I love it here, feeling home since day one I arrived! Job opportunities are good, much better than in the Netherlands but not having the social system and convenience (like being sick and stay home for a few days = no pay). Or the so called "uitkeringen' uhm...no!
BC is the best place on earth .
How you like your PRS t1? I just got it and do more reading than on my iPad. So easy to grab it while waiting times at work, haha!
