Wall Charging

Standard USB wall charger doesn't charge my new PRS-T1, what type of USB wall adapter do I need?

As a sidenote, I have a thread here about a broken screen for PRS-600...but after getting PRS-T1, I learned just how poor the operation/viewing of the PRS-600 was. The only good thing I can say about the 600 was the stylus was stored inside the reader whereas the T1 stylus has to hang on the cover. Otherwise the 600 is inferior in every way to the T1.

I am truly amazed at the clarity of the print, lack of glare, and the excellent battery life. Even the Wi-Fi connection works reasonably well...even if it is a bit slow at times.

All in all I find the T1 to be a nearly perfect reader for my needs, which are really basic. I want a light, small, easily viewed, reader. With the lighted cover now I can read at nighttime...

I am really pleased with the T1.

The iGo charger that I use for my 650 works perfectly well on a T1.

HTC TC E250 works great

Therfore I'm gonna assume that the US Version (HTC TC U250) works just fine too.

If you don't have an HTC-cellphone you can get the charger for around €5 with free shipping from Amazon.

It seems like a good idea to maybe add a list of all the compatible chargers on the MobileRead PRS-T1 wiki page. I think the idea with wiki pages is that everyone can add to them. I just don't know how.

HTC TC E250

This evening I read till the charge indicator had no bars left and went on to finish the book I was reading, which took about an hour. Then I watched some TV.
So I hooked up the T1 to the charger in order to time the cycle. Obviously I wasn't reading at the time. The T1 operates as if nothing were happening('cept for the red light) and goes to sleep mode normally.

After 1h 32min the red light went out and the device indicated a full charge.

Has anyone gone all out and totally discharged the thing? What happens? Do you get a warning?
