Text To Speech-Package can not be installed -IQ701
Hi i have problem with install TTS on Pocketbook IQ701. File .pbi i have in sd card and i m go in with file manager. Go .pbi and it write error: Package can not be installed...! Where is the problem?

Try renaming file.
For example: Italian(Italy)_female.pbi ->Italianfemale.pbi |

How to play
I have installed it...But how can i play it? Select in settings text-to-speech and select language-OK but when i go to reading and long tap on the screen..There is not Text To Speech- I have firmware 2.0.6...What i must do?

open the book, wait till it loads then make sure tts is enabled. tap middle of text, then highlight the first sentence. it's all in the manual. fyi I couldnt' get it to work with the 2.1.1 update.

I make it
This i do.....When i download it copy to sd card install open a book .doc and tap in the middle of screen but there is: Create bookmark and Go to page....

Same problem, try this app instead . .
Hi Wizard, had the same problem, and after a bit of googling i installed a simular package from www.fbreader.org/ Its a free Ereader package with a TTS plug in, and caters for all android op systems . .

oops, I forgot to ask if you were using the stock program or not.
It should work fine with the stock reader that comes with the pb. There's also a "how to" in the manual. |
