uploading B&N Books to Kindle Fire?

Hi -- I am new to Ebooks, but I did have a Barnes & Noble eReader on my iphone and I would like to know if I can transfer a book I purchased through B&N to my new Kindle Fire. It's an .epub file format.

Yes, you can. I haven't gotten around to trying it yet, but you can sideload Mantano reader onto your Fire, and it will read epubs including those with B&N DRM.

Here's a how to for loading Mantano.

There are several other threads around that might be helpful.

You can sideload the B&N Nook app which is how I read my B&N books & magazines. It should also sync your reading progress & notes between the Kindle and your iPhone. I use the Aldiko app for EPUBs, and it can also import B&N books.
