Search and Replace Question
If I encounter a vertical bar pipe character "|" in the text I want to replace, how do I set it off to be normal text, not an actual pipeline command????

I've tried putting a backslash in front of it as the Help manual suggests, but then I lose the entire line when clicking Test. |

I found my problem. In addition to the "|", I had also parenthesis in the expression I was searching for. After bracketing the bar and the parenthesis, Test worked.
