Abbyy FineReader 11 on sale until Dec 14

ABBYY FineReader 11 Professional Edition : 118.99
Upgrade : 69.99

I have no connection to Abbyy and FineReader except that I've been wanting to get it for a long time, especially after the 1-Stop scanning thread.

That's a great sale price-- at the abbyy site-- thanks for the news!

Unfortunately for me I just bought it 2 weeks ago, elsewhere at a good but higher price; otherwise I'd jump at the deal!

Looks like it can output to epub now, that might be worth the upgrade for me.

I have experienced it, and comparing with the last two versions, is really worth the upgrade (or the first buy for that matter) - it’s the OCR program I advise to my clients who need that type of solution.

Oh, it exports to EPUB now. Upgrading immediately.

Abbyy 11 is the best! It hardly makes OCR mistakes now.

I highly recommend grabbing this!

Looks like the full version is Windows only--is that correct? Is the junior version for the Mac even worth bothering with?
