Which format did I start with?

I have many books in both epub and mobi. Some were originally epub and converted to mobi. Some were originally mobi and converted to epub.

Is there anything in calibre that can tell me which format I converted to which for a given book? Which one was the source for the other?

open the metadata editor and hover over each format (one at a time )
the last modified date might (not 100%) give you a clue.

I added a predefined text, 'Mstr Fmt' column where I can set a format or Multi (I like short names)
