Calibre and Kindle for Blackberry

Hi,

I just installed the Kindle software on my Blackberry and tried transferring books to it from Calibre. Everything works fine except that the books are saved in "\eBooks" but the kindle software would like them in "\kindle\eBooks". Is there a way to configure Calibre to do that?

Thanks for your help,
Daniel

I might be missing something but I didn't find the option to change the default folder there. The only thing I see is the "save template" field but it doesn't seem to work (I tried to add kindle there but it saves the books at \eBooks\kindle and not \kindle\eBooks).

The alternative is to disable the Blackberry plugin, restart calibre and use the Connect to Folder feature to send books to your folder on your Blackberry. Once you are connected via the Connect to Folder feature calibre will treat that folder on your Blackberry as a device and you would use the Send to device icon to send books to it.

Good Luck.

I can confirm that the field doesn't work for Calibre installed on Ubuntu Oneiric. The last time I messed with this, I had to customize the plugin. Back then it was installed in my home directory. Now I've got a system wide installation of Calibre on a fresh install of UbuOneiric. I tried Kovids suggestion but it still puts the books in /eBooks: "/eBooks/_/kindle/eBooks" Weird- I thought it would work.

Anyway, using "Connect to folder" works good but it's not automatic like I want.
