Change libraries
I have two libraries in Calibre. One for me and one for my wife. When I change from teh librarye from my wife to mine, the labels go to standard. I have to change this everytime. So for example: labels, series, Publisher etc.
When I switch back to the library of my wife, this doesn't happen. There I see the adjusted labels I want to see. This happens everytime.

Labels? Do you mean Column titles?
These are per Physical Library (db file) and not per Virtual Library. Each Library stores the column order, formatting and visibility.  By any chance are you using a special plugin like 'View Manager"? Ones like that takes control
