I just figured out why my M90 never freezes..
It's becoz I always read everything from SD card and each time it crashes, it exits to main menu....

As long as I've tried to migrate books over built-in flash (Library) today, I suddenly experienced the *beauty*(read in a sarcastic tone) of M90's freeze, and since my reset hole doesn't work, go figure.

It seems that this device makes quite a difference regards of where you read from, SD card= crashes, while Library= freeze.

This is going to sound sarcastic, but I'm serious:

What do you find to be better? The crashing or the freezing? Is it crashing while reading, or when you are performing a specific task? How are you recovering from the crash?

If it takes less time to recover from a crash, I may start putting my books on an SD card. As it is right now, I barely ever use the thing, it's just too much trouble.

What do you mean by saying "freeze"?

Because sometimes the device is still working but only the display is not refreshed (so it looks like it is freezing). If it is the case then pressing the Home button may help

It did freeze. No key works, niether the blue led.

I would say much prefer the crash, and it only takes seconds to be back at where you were.

It crashed most likely during dictionary or several consecutive page turnnings.

btw, the internal memory is slightly faster than da SD card.

I contact ebookreaderdiscount and I can send it for repair but I'm going to have to pay for postage. That is outrageous they send me a faulty product and can't even cover the postage costs. I have been pretty much complaining from day one that it crashes/freezes, its not even 3 months old yet.

That's very cheap of them. A retailer really ought to stand behind the product they sell, and provide some assistance to the customer.

Before you do that, I suggest using the Format Flash option in the File Menu to reset the device, and try a new SD card for your books.

Aside from the dismal battery life, and the irritating flashing (15? 20 times?)that occurs when I wake the M90 from sleep, the stupid thing seems to be working fairly well now from the SD card.
