Jailbreak kindle has small screensavers

I have recently jailbroken my kindle and have added a load of screensaver covers that i realy like the look of. however all of the images look like they have a white border around them making the image much smaller than i would like. all of the images are 600 by 800 like they should be. has any one got any ideas as to why they are like this?

What the resolution of the screen saver images that you using? Is it match with your Kindle resolution?

Kindle DX: 1200 x 824 pixels
Kindle 2/3: 600 x 800 pixels
