problem handling doubly archived files
It happens like this. Archive a directory of files into something like files.tar.gz (or any other 2 formats). Then import it to Calibre, and change the author name (to unknown for instance) within Calibre. This way makes the file name in Calibre's file structure something like:"files.tar - unknown.gz". Then when trying to open the file within Calibre, instead of seeing the original files, there is only one file.
I find this problem on a Ubuntu system. |

calibre does not support composite extensions. Use .tgz instead.
