[Kobo] Some pictures in an eBook does not show

Hi,

Unsure if this is the good forum for that, but...

I have downloaded the illustrated version of 20.000 leagues under the sea, from Jules Verne, in French, and I have put it in Calibre. ePub format.

When I double click on the book in Calibre I can read the book without issue, and all the illustrations are here.

BUT... then I have put it in my Kobo touch through the Calibre web interface. And then, some illustrations do not display. Not all, but some. Instead of some illustrations I have just blank squares.

What happened and how can I fix this?

I attached the ePub file if someone wants to check this. This is a free eBook so no right management issue.

Thanks

I do have a ticket open with Kobo on a similar issue, and have also brought it to the attention of the developers.

Did they answer yet? I hope they will fix this soon... Perhaps in the January update? What is the difference between opening a ticket and bringing it to the attention of the devs? You have the devs mails?

Thanks

Edit: btw perhaps this thread should be moved in Kobo forum, I believed it was a Calibre issue, but after I thought it was not

It's been done both ways so that

a) The official problem tracking system is aware (it actually DOES help firms to prioritize issues) and that Management (who are known to look at statistics from problem tracking systems) are kept happy.
b) Dev's are known to enjoy tracking down issues

What is the best way to get support from kobo? To send them a mail at help@kobo.com? Post a message on their Facebook page in support section? Other?
