Troubleshooting Help with Battery

my kindle wont turn on after charging....the battery light will turn yellow when i first plug in the power cord then after a few hours there is no light...tried a hard reset but still not turning on...have anybody experience this problem?
i have the screensaver hack install, i dont know if that makes any difference or not

You may have broken your firmware with that hack. It's hard to tell what kind of influence that has on your device.
