Where to distribute an ebook that displays all king of letters?

I have read the sticky thread about publishing, but it's mostly for English books. The book I have to promote is in an Eastern European Language for an Eastern European market (luckily most people are already abroad). And it contains such weird characters as the Romanian comma S and comma T which are more like Tibetan characters when it comes to device support. Well, I have solved that with the EPUB by embedding the fonts and everything works allright even on the dreaded Adobe Digital Editions.

I have just entered Kindle Self Publish zone with a wish to upload the book and I find out that there are distant plans of supporting Eastern European languages, for now only the most used Western European languages are supported. So, up untill a translation is made available I'm stuck. Most probably I am going to be stuck anyway as the names still contain those non Latin1 letters.

What other options are there besides PayPal?

Smashwords? Not sure about letters since they do their own conversions, but I've seen all kinds of languages on there.

I read on the sticky thread that smashwords does a crappy job of converting. And I dislike the voodoo secrecy involved their Microsoft Word limited importer. After all I have the epub ready and tested, it would be a pitty to have some Calibre conversion of a .doc
