Error communicating with device (Orizon)

Hi,
I use Calibre with a Bookeen Orizon which works fine except for :

calibre, version 0.8.26
ERROR: Error: Error communicating with device

[Errno 5] Input/output error: '/media/Cybook/Digital Editions/Cornwell, Bernard'

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "site-packages/calibre/gui2/device.py", line 81, in run
File "site-packages/calibre/gui2/device.py", line 405, in _upload_books
File "site-packages/calibre/devices/usbms/driver.py", line 260, in upload_books
File "site-packages/calibre/devices/usbms/device.py", line 1117, in create_upload_path

OSError: [Errno 5] Input/output error: '/media/Cybook/Digital Editions/Cornwell, Bernard'

can anyone advise?

That's an error creating a directory on your device. Your device is likely failing, try reformatting the internal memory/SD card you're using.

Thanks Kovidgoyal,

my main memory was corrupted, I formatted it as you suggested
(I use Linux)
[root@localhost Cybook]# fsck.vfat -r /dev/sdf
dosfsck 3.0.9, 31 Jan 2010, FAT32, LFN
Reclaimed 17489 unused clusters (71634944 bytes).
Free cluster summary wrong (419364 vs. really 436853)
1) Correct
2) Don't correct
? 1
Perform changes ? (y/n) y
/dev/sdf: 101 files, 3881/440734 clusters

that fixed the problem
