Woot! Just confirmed movie rentals via Amazon can be downloaded to the Fire. You don't have to stream over WiFi! This is a definite game changer for me regardless of what the Fire reader app looks like. I've placed another order!

Depends on quality, format, length of video, etc... If I had to venture a guess, I'd assume about 5 movies or so with some extra space left over. But, that's just a guess.
