I have a nook & I need some help with connecting to calibre from my lap top, can anyone help me, please.

What is your exact problem? Normally it is just a case of pl;ugging it in and you are good to go. That is obviously not happening for you?

I did plug it in & then I'm not sure where to go from there. I am such a newbie with all this new stuff. Sorry.

Does Calibre show it recognized you device is attached (at the bottom of the Calibre screen, next to Kovid Goyal's name)?

I know when I connect my Nook Color to Calibre, I have to wake it up before I connect it to the computer. Just make sure the screen is active prior to connecting.
