Browser Gone

So after owning it for a summer where everything worked, my Kobo Touch stopped allowing me to access the internet. So I relizing I had not updated in a while, updated and turned it on. First off I noticed my SD card books kept flashing on then off. I could read something off the card for 3 pages and then bam it was gone, pull it out put it in, same thing happens. Then I went to check the browser and it is gone from my Kobos menu. What happened to the browser?

*Edit re updated it and browsers back SD card still the same.

It's a firmware issue that should be addressed in the next update.
