Instapaper + Google Reader + Kindle 3

I have read through some of the threads re: Instapaper and Kindle 3, but none of them described the behaviour I desire.

I would like to see the following: Articles starred in google reader are automatically synced with instapaper. Instapaper syncs once per day with the Kindle. Articles are broken in to sections per website which can be seen in the "sections and articles" list of the periodical "instapaper". The previous day's instapaper is sent to "back issues".

InstaReader purports to be able to sync google reader starred items with Instapaper, but after some time waiting my accounts still are not synced. I will wait a little longer before seeking an alternative.

Instapaper itself is able to send unread articles to the Kindle, however, it only sends up to the most recent 20, so an alternative must be found. In addition, Instapaper does not break up the articles into separate sections.

If you want to sync starred items, you could try to get an invite to http://ifttt.com. ifttt lets you create actions that should be performed for certain trigger events.
A trigger event can be starring an item in Google Reader and the action can be to send it to Instapaper.

ifttt is a very new service and is invite only, but I had to wait only a day to get my invite.

A little bit late

But, Have you tried Calibre with Instapaper?

It downloads much more than the 20 articles and with more images than the default Instapaper version for Kindle, but you need to make the adjustments so Calibre send the Instapaper result to your Kindle.

In every other aspect, It works just like the way you want.

About the syncronization with Google reader, I don't know how to do it.
