I click on the 'check for updates' tool for the Reader for PC "software". The message I get is "There is no software that needs updating".

Cocky [language deleted - MODERATOR. Of course this piece of crap needs updating...

Don't use their software/firmware : both are crappy and you'll never see any update.

Alternative : Calibre (http://calibre-ebook.com/) and PRS+ (http://code.google.com/p/prs-plus/)
