Conerting to ZIP ... feature request

Hello.
First, my need :
I'm willing to convert a comic from PDF to CBZ format. PDF

Caliber does offer zip conversion, which almost does the job, but it would need 2 small modifications :
> If images page indexing could be 4 digit (0001,0002,0003,...) instead of (1,2,3,...)
> If it would be possible to save it with .cbz instead of .zip extension

Could that be brought to a future version ?

Best regards,
Thomas

What is wrong with the current CBZ conversion? The ZIP format is normally reserved in Calibre for HTML books.

Unless I'm missing something CBZ is currently only a conversion input option not a conversion output option.

calibre does not convert to comic formats only from them. Indeed calibre is designed and optiized for text based documents, not image based ones. There are plenty of free tools you can find to extract images froma PDF, then just zip them up to create a cbz.

I understand ! If it is out of the scope, then forget about this.

Thank you
