Error accesing "Store Front" via wifi

I'm getting an error when I try to access the "Store Front" through the STORE option at the HOME screen on my KT. It attempts to connect, I get the "accesing store" message and then it sort of times out and comes back with the message "something happened while processing and this page could not be loaded". Anyone has confronted this issue?

The wifi works, I can browse the web, and I can access the Kobo store if I use any of the other alternatives within the STORE menu. I even successfully purchased and downloaded a book to my KT.

I wrote an email to the help desk, but no answer yet. Feedback is welcomed.

I know it's not the answer you want but, at least one person will post in your thread.

I don't use a router at home - so I haven't actually use the internet or internet connectivity on my Kobo.

I was thinking of going in a library where they have free connectivity for the simple sake of trying it out.

I have yet to master that function.

But...at the moment I am so overwhelmed by the simple fact that I carry around over a thousand different books...

That is really odd behavior. Sometimes a 'pin reset' will fix a reader that is acting strangely.

I have sent you PM to see why this is happening. As suggested a factory reset will likely resolve the issue.

Got you PM. Just responded to it.

I did a reset but still get the exact same scenario. Have wifi access, but the device cannot get to the store front. Thanks.

I also encounter this error frequently, although oddly I find that if I retry the Store Front often loads successfully. Sometimes it just takes a bizarrely long time to load. I was wondering if this is a known bug? I may try a factory reset even though it didn't appear to work for the OP.
A different but related grip I have with the Store as accessed via the Touch - why are the controls and virtual keyboard for entering searches so sloooooooow
