				Who's your Hard Man?

Who's the guy that can beat anyone? For me, I'd have to say it's Parker, the anti-hero in Richard Stark's novels. A close second would be Jack Reacher from Lee Child's books, and then Leonard Pine from Joe R Lansdale. Reacher is bigger and Pine is meaner than Parker, but Parker's all business, all the time. When he wants to put you down, he stops at nothing to do it. No matter what. Who are yours? |

Reading the title of this thread makes me feel dirty. But I'll still play: Joe Kurtz, Logen Ninefingers Last edited by DiapDealer; 02-22-2012 at 07:32 PM. |

In straight thrillers I like Reacher too. Maybe Stephen Hunter's Bob Lee Swagger? When the going gets weird I'd bet on Jonathan Maberry's Joe Ledger. When we hit SF I'd pick Richard Morgan's Takeshi Kovacs. |

Don't forget Spencer and Hawk. For Westerns it would have to be the Sacketts. If you mess with one you mess with all of them. Apache |
