Cant access facebook from kindle 3

it used to work before. i was able to view regular facebook as well as mobile version fine. then several months ago it stopped working. facebook page freezes on login page and kindle gives a message saying that the page cant be loaded. help.

m.facebook.com was the only one that worked for me, but it logs off 5 mins later.

I haven't tried today, But I used touch.facebook.com

I can't imagine accessing FB or any other page on that browser. Is it that people don't have access to a computer? I'm just curious, I'm not knocking it if that's your thing. I just can't see going to that browser for anything not even to read a text site.

i think when you don't have access to anything other than your kindle. you've enough patience to wait for the page to load

just using the browser at school when i need to check my email or mp message on Fb

yes the kindle browser is a pain, but like lullaby said, when you dont have anything else within easy reach around you, the kindle will have to do.

for some reason touch.facebook.com doesnt work for me either. it used to work before! i dunno what happened.

could it be cause i started using calibre to edit the metadata of my books?

Perhaps it has something to do with all the goofy changes Facebook made recently.

Aside from that, make sure that Java is enabled on the Kindle.

i fixed it!! it just needed a restart! lol!

my java was on, but its the restart that fixed it.
