how do i start "terminal"

according to Calibre manual
"....On other platforms, just start a terminal and type the command."


where is the terminal ?
I can't find the button nor the key anywhere.
I am using win7


my problem is I am trying to use command line Interface
to locate those books without covers.

Terminal is another name for "Command Prompt": found on the "Start Menu". I believe it may be under accessories ( my W7 Laptop is packed up right now)

FYI, you can do this from the GUI with the Quality Check plugin.

Update: A think a simple search of cover:false in the search bar will show you all books without a cover.
