Hi!
I'm really considering going for the new kindle touch, but, i'd like to know the major cons and pros. I'm studying, and notes would only be taken occasinaly. Do you think I should go for the touchscreen? One more thing. Do kindle 3 apps, like notepad, work on kindle touch? And are there screen protectors for touchscreens? Thanks ![]() DD Last edited by DonalDuck; 10-01-2011 at 02:17 PM. |

If you take notes then I would suggest either the Touch or the Keyboard models. I have the keyboard model and it works great for taking notes.

Does anyone know if the Touch model will allow you to make handwritten notes or draw on the screen?

The Touch has a virtual keyboard--you can use it for taking notes. Whether or not you will prefer typing on the virtual keyboard vs. a real keyboard comes down to personal preference. One more thing. Do kindle 3 apps, like notepad, work on kindle touch? From a customer service post on Amazon: Quote:
There will inevitably be a 3rd party screen protector produced at some point if there isn't one already. (I personally wouldn't bother... it'll just add glare). |
