Fantasy Football Apps?

I know this is a long shot but I have to ask. I have 2 fantasy football teams. One is on Yahoo and the other is CBS Sports. Does anyone know of APPS that will run on the PE that I can monitor my teams live?

Hola Cajunseo,

Well firstly so you know, with main stream sport fantasy sites, they usually have their own Android app for fantasy teams. Which means there sadly is only likely one app that can access it for each different site.

Lucky for you, I found both pretty quick. Only problem might be they don't install on PE, I haven't tested them. But I'd love to know how it goes for future use.
__
CBS apk from Market

Yahoo Football apk
__

You can usually find any apk by searching with google the "app's name" and "apk" in search bar.

Otherwise Android Zoom, SlideME, and Freewarelovers are all good sites for app's.

Hope they both work for you!

You couldn't load the websites or you couldn't load the apk to your PE?

No problem.

I couldn't even get them to download from the website. I believe they wanted me to register with google or something that I could not do. I will try again and post the results.

ATHmac........just tried. You either have to have a QR reader which won't work to my knowledge on the PE or it will email to your device. I don't have email on the device.

wasn't planning on setting it up. the email i use is a work email. i have had it for years and it has gradually received more and more junk email. on my pc i have spam blocker which handles it for the most part. but i'm talking over 200-300 per day. that is the first issue. the second issue is that i don't want my emails to be in 2 different places. i have done that before with the iphone and it was not very practical. i did have the links sent to my pc but could not transfer them to the pe. wish i was more better with computers.

It all depends on how you set up the e-mail app.

I have our work e-mail server and my normal e-mail. By selecting to leave e-mails on server I can read them on my EE or any of the computers I have access to. With this setup they will remain available until you either delete them on you PE or delete them from the server.

I feel for you with the spam problem. We have a rather nice Bayesian filter that has learned over the years we've been using it so that we might see the odd one or two spam messages a week out of the several hundred that the logs say it has deleted.

Didn't realize QR reader didn't work on PE as I usually use my phone for QR.

I did find actually a different fantasy sports apk that apparently can control yahoo and espn. I had to double check it after I realized it wasn't from yahoo lol. Hope if runs on the PE for you.

http://www.apktop.com/fantasy-footba...-11-1-0-2.html
(Look for the download link near bottom of paragraph. Not the green advertisement Download button on right.)

Another yahoo possible one. PE untested. Fantasy Guru apk

Finally found a non QR download for yahoo 11. Its runs on PE so far, but its one update behind current. This is 1.5, current is 2.0.1. Can't find 2.0.1 download, main difference is the new version allows for Google and FB signin, 1.5 only uses yahoo sign in.
Yahoo FFB 11

Good luck, it was rough finding just those lol

Nice work, ATFmac!

Cajun, if your Internet Service Provider at home (or at work) allows you to create multiple email addresses, you might want to make a new email account just for your PE. That's what I did. Makes it easy to send stuff to my PE/EE without getting tangled in my main email account.

Also -- 200-300 spam messages a day??!! Ouch!

Thanks. I agree with Filark, creating a new one is the way to go if getting Market/gmail working on your PE isn't possible for you at the moment.

I downloaded the Yahoo Fantasy 11 app and it works great. Tried the Monster one but it downloads to a zip file and when I put on flash drive and go to install, the PE doesn't recognize it. Thanks.

@ ATFmac, the CBS Sports apk would work for my CBS Sports league but it keeps telling me that I need to log into my google account. When I do this I get an error saying it can't establish a reliable data connection to the server. Any ideas?
