Just bought an enTourage Pocket eDGe Dualbook - it hasn't even had time to arrive yet and I'm excited! Trying to find information and support for it so that when it comes I will have all the info I need. Not really used to a lot of hands on, so this is going to be fun!

Helpful members and many hints, tricks and tips.

Also, there are a number of videos posted on YouTube by entourage that will assist in learning to use this little gem!

Hello All,

So, it finally arrived and I'm a bit leery of rooting....any suggestions? I've read that the Edge needs to be fully charged before turning on, so it's currently charging. I don't want to end up with a mess!

Welcome to Mobileread and entourage edges!

Rooting is not necessary in 99% of instances.

Have a visit to the edge/pocket edge forum ,when you have the opportunity! Helpful members and many hints, tricks and tips. Also, there are a number of videos posted on YouTube by entourage that will assist in learning to use this little gem!

Forum member obsessed2 has detailed an updated method of performing the edge update. And has compiled an extremely detailed list of Resources for New Edge and Pocket Edge Owners.

The graphic in this thread/post Bypass registration screen shows how to get past the registration screen now that entourage servers are no longer active. Here is a video representation of the same graphic; Video explanation.

The entourage archive at the top of the entourage edge forum is a copy of the official entourage forum copied here when entourage shut down.
