Wi-Fi network help please?

Please forgive my ineptitude, but can anyone help a complete idiot (me that is) setup my system so that I can view/download books from my PC (Calibre) to my Kindle using my home Wi-fi network.

I tried pressing the connect/share icon, and it does change colour, and that is as far as I got!

I cant download my ebooks from Calibre using USB because my comp crashes when I plug in my Kindle. I get the BSoD, which is very annoying. I have read the FAQ’s, but even that isn’t explained simple enough for me I’m afraid.

Can anyone explain from word go how the heck I set it all up. Also, if I do network my books, can anyone just access them?

Okay, I have my PC in front of me, it is a big grey box with lots of wires coming out of it. There is also a TV screen which sort of works like magic, and shows me what is stored inside the big grey box thingy…. I also have a Kindle, I know this, as it says Kindle on the top of it.

I somehow managed to load up Calibre, also I have a “My Kindle” program loaded, which has some books in it, as does Calibre.

Okay, how do I access my Calibre content using the Kindle, and without USB connection?

Gosh darn, I know I’m a bit pathetic at this, and it did take me a good while before I even dared post this, so don’t be too harsh please!
