For how long will Chapters take back my Kobo in exchange for a new one? Mines got something wrong with it. Thanks

Retailer warranties are generally the same as their return policy, which I believe is 30 days for Chapters. Anything after that would be covered under the manufacturer's warranty. However, I am just pointing out the norm and am not 100% sure that it applies to Chapters.

Mine was 2.5 months old when I exchanged it for a new one at Chapters with the receipt. Or are you not close to a Chapters?

The website says 14 days but I'll try when I go to Nanaimo Monday. I'm having a problem with the USB port being wobly and not connecting to the computer. Though if I wiggle the wire just right I can charge it.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the in store policy is 14 days and in store bought condition (translation: still sealed in box). They have been getting strict with that policy which means you will probably be told to send it to Kobo for repair, or replacement with a refurbished unit since your warranty is with Kobo and not Chapters.

A refurbished one is fine. That's what I'd get in the mail anyway.
