Unhappy Caliber issue

Hi, I have a ebook ink with Caliber and tho it says the library in my device is empty it has 30 empty (added) & preinstalled 'files' in it and the empty files are then inamongst my library when i've transferred it onto the device, i tried reset on the back of the device but i doesn't seem to do anything, anyone got any ideas on how i can delete these 'files'

You need to ask in the (brand) Manufacturers forum. This is not a Calibre issue.
Note: Some devices hide Pre-installed books from Calibre (and others) and do not even allow them to be deleted

I did not note your Make and Model, but If there is not an entry in the E-Book readers section, I would star with "Google"
It may be hosted by the manufacturer.
Or you coud try customer service (good luck. Sell and run on seems to common on many off brand models)
