Four minute video of Prs-T1
Heres a longer video of the new sony.
Shows pinch to zoom. Something I dont think other videos have shown yet. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tUmCmK3ADCw Last edited by Tony1988; 09-02-2011 at 03:46 PM. |

That's definitely a high gloss finish as I feared, which is a deal breaker for me. I find that high gloss finish super annoying when I tried a Nook out, I kept trying to tilt the reader to eliminate the glare, even though it's not on the text screen.

Does anyone know if the non-light Sony cover for the 505 will fit the T1?

Well we had already know that from the first videos. So no surprise there. Just get a matte skin.

So, what color would people recommend...red, black, or white?
Thanks! |

Thanks for the link. I hope that's an early software release, the flashing in the reader looks horrendous, and the device felt sluggish for a 1GHz processor.

Some people like it smooth, others like it rough! Either way you might be inclined, there will always be a solution, so no worries (romantic or mean or.. whatever). A smooth finish is even more conductive to the adhesive decals(which you can choose in any roughness, whatever) than the rough surface. Thus making it easier for EVERYONE! |

How comes none of the new readers include the faster Eink screen controller we have seen recently (you know where you would see a video displayed on an EInk screen) ? All the new readers are as slow as the old generation...

Probably to keep cost down. I dont think most people are willing to pay extra for video playback. Do we really need it on a dedicated ereader?? Theres enough stuff on an ereader to distract people as it is. ![]() |
