Many inconveniences
Hey,
just some short question: 1) Is it true, that you cannot mark things in non kobo ebooks? Or am I too stupid? It's extremly annoying. Is it planned to fix this? 2) In 1.9.10 I have problems with margins. If I augment them, the page isn't in the center anymore or gets gut at the bottom. Very annoying. 3) In some ebooks it takes extremly long to open pages on which a new chapter starts. Why? Other formats than epub seems to be very slow too. These things really make it hard to enjoy reading. Any solutions? Thanks! |

1) That's right, no highlighting in non-Kobo ebooks. It's because Kobo epubs are different than the standard, thus they need to specially code for both formats - and regular epubs are therefore always behind in features.
2) Not experienced by me, sorry, so can't comment. 3) Some ebooks (especially Kobo ones) split the book into individual files for each chapter, so they have to be loaded individually. It's very annoying. |
