[Old Thread] Extra page appearing after conversion
I am brand new to Calibre and so exicted to find it to get my pdf's transferred to ePub format. I am trying to convert a Google ebook pdf (public domain) to epub for my ipad, and have two pages where there should only be one, because at the bottom of the original document where it says "Digitized by Google" , that is appearing on a separate page - so now I have twice as many pages as necessary. Is there a setting I am not aware of to keep this from carrying over to the next page? Any help appreciated!

I'm having a problem with extra pages, too! When I open my epub onto an iPad, I get an extra page after the cover .... as well as after some chapters. It's making me nuts.
If anyone has suggestions to get rid of this problem, please share. thanks! |
