				Palm price movements

I'm looking at buying a Palm T|T3, and was wanting some advice on how prices move on Palms - I'm completely new to PDA technology. From what I can gather, the price drops pretty rapidly not too long after release (same as mobile phones, I guess?). If I was to wait until say June/July, do you think the price would have dropped substantially, based on price moves on past models? Thanks for any tips. |

I give you an example. In Germany, the T3 did cost 460.80 Euro (roughly equal to US $) when it was first introduced. Currently it is available for 323.00 Euro. Already there is a significant price drop, despite the fact that the T3 is still Palm's #1 PDA. So yes, if you can wait, and if you are not tempted by the new PDAs that will be coming out soon (introduction of OS 6 and the new PDA's based on OS 6), buy the T3 in June/July. |
