Flashlite Plugin

What is this? I tried reinstall w/Titanium BkUp (although I had never uninstalled it) but can't see that it did anything. I have nothing about it in the apps drawer or under widgets.

Hi, Filark! I've been having terrible problems w/my satellite internet connection, so much so that I missed two chances to get a EE on eBay because after my initial bid(s) I couldn't connect for some days or hours. Really frustrating, so it's a treat to be here.

On my PE under Settings Applications and also listed in Titantium system apps there is a 148kb program labelled "Flashlite Plugin". I certainly didn't install it so I figured it was part of the Ermine update. I tried the reinstall option w/Titanium but nothing happened that I could see. I guess I'll just uninstall it.

He's talking about "flash lite".. the limited version of "flash" that comes installed.

Ever hear of "flash"? It's what lets you do things on webpages that normally wouldn't be allowed? Such as viewing videos, playing some games, etc? These typically run on software called "flash" CLICK HERE FOR MORE DETAILS.

The PE/EE has a limited version of flash installed, called "lite" that only enable certain features of this software. Some people have been successful in installing the full version but with some incompatibility issues.

Oh, thanks. I never thought of the Adobe plugin. It is definitely one word in both places on my PE. I thought it might be one of the apps folks install on cell phones as a actual flashlight accessory.

So it's actually installed on the PE? If so, it's good I didn't uninstall it. Thanks very much MasterTec.

I've got the apk for android.flashliteplugin. It's in my Titanium Backup file. Don't know if that's what your looking for...or for that for what purpose!

I have a flashlight app I use for reading in bed and (recently) for seeing a front door keypad in the dark, so that was on my mind.

I had installed Adobe Flash Player 10.1.61.68 (from here http://www.freewarelovers.com/androi...e-flash-player), but wasn't sure it was doing anything for me so I uninstalled it. Opinions??
