Thin and Light like the Playbook

Can anyone recommend a tablet like this but that is not so pricey?? Thanks!

How much are you willing to spend? Exactly how heavy and thick of a tablet are you willing to buy? Which OS do you want?

If you want a cheap android tablet that is 7", you might try rooting the Nook Color, which IIRC is selling refurb (if you can get it) for around $200. It won't be as powerful as the ~$500 tablets most of the well known brands are selling, though.

I have the Archos 70 which is decent but low memory (256Mb and 8 gb of storage)

Bought mine for $270, but I see Newegg sells it for $ 240 now. Might want to wait for the Generation 9 ones that should be out soon. They will have more memory and power.

Mine works well enough but is sometimes slow to refresh the home screen. I think a little more memory and it would be excellent.

The new-to-arive Acer Iconia A100 is also a 7" android (3.2) tablet. It is slightly thicker than the playbook, though.
