I have a text file that contains FormFeed characters between "pages".
When I try to convert it to PDF, the FormFeed characters seem to be ignored, rather than causing new pages to be started in the PDF file. Is there a way for it to recognize the FormFeed characters? |

Not sure what a form feed character is, but if you can express it in regex then you might be able to replace it (using the search and replace feature) with a div that includes a page-break inline style, e.g.:
<div style="page-break-after:always"></div> |

Then in unicode that's \u000C - the OP could try this:
Search box: Code:
\u000C Code:
<div style="page-break-after:always"></div> |

While calibre is an excellent tool for many conversions (e.g. TXT>EPUB, MOBI>PDF, ...) it is not the best for all of the possible combinations of import and export formats. IMHO, TXT>PDF is one of the latter cases. I would suggest that you get a good PDF printer driver utility (I use PrimoPDF on Windows, and Cute PDF is often recommended around here) and simply print to PDF using an app that displays your text properly. |
