Calibre on Macbook Pro 2011 - Snow Leopard
Hi,
I have 2011 Macbook Pro running snow leopard. I installed the latest version of Calibre on it. I am trying to add content server to my iPad. Sometime it connects and sometime it does not. I have firewall settings turned off and there is no VPN client installed on my Macbook. I was wondering if there is any setting that i ignored in the macbook which keep changing the IP or port internally which keep blocking this connection. ipconfig always gives -192.168.20.102 I used safari to open the above IP and it opens everytime. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Last edited by bmwr1200c; 07-31-2011 at 07:42 AM. Reason: missed a line |

I'm not sure what problem you are having. Do you mean that you can't get metadata for your content?

The problem is when I start the content serve on the Calibre, I can not open this IP (192.168.20.102) address in my iPad safari browser.
I am not sure why, when I enter this above IP address in Macbook safari then it shows complete catalog. I want to access calibre content server through my iPad so that I can download the books directly to iPad via wifi home network. I can always transfer by connecting the iPad to my macbook but I don't want that. I want to transfer my book to iPad via home wifi network. |
