Need Ebook that has read to me feature

Do to some attention deficit issues I need a read to me feature on an ebook. I have a book I own called Mater of the Senate (about LBJ). It does not include the read to me feature. Can I use Calibrate to change this?

I have Kindle for PC now, but would like to buy a portable e reader based on the above.

Thanks

SM

If a book is not enabled for Text-To-Speech, it is because the publisher removed that option. I don't know if removing the DRM will help, but it might.

Have you considered the audio version? Audible has it in a single abridged version, or three very lengthy audio files that are unabridged. You might try your local public library as well.

I know this won't answer your question directly, but have you tried some reading techniques for that? For example ...

-Short reading sessions (no longer than 20 min)
-Comfortable room with zero or min. distractions
-Reading on same place or try to
-Mornings are usually better for very complex topics

I don't have attention deficit, but sometimes it is difficult for me to get that level of attention I need to read and understand my computer books. I talked to an expert on the matter and he gave me those tips. I've passed several Microsoft cert. that way .... ;-)
