IS it the right time to buy a kindle dx?

Hello everyone,i'm a new comer from university, these days i need read a lot of academic reference especially PDF files,and i found that kindle dx size 9.7inch may be ok, but some people told me in septemble amazon may come out a new kindle, maybe kindle dx3??

guys who can help me make a choice,buy kindle dxg,or just wait ......
i cunfused............

Wait just a bit longer. Kindle DX is bound to improve soon. Its hardware and software is lagging behind even Kindle3.

You should know that many dx owners are unhappy with its handling of PDF. The dx hardware and firmware are equivalent to the kindle 2. It's pretty dated.

You'd think the dx screen size would be ideal for PDF, but the slow e ink screen refresh coupled with weak CPU make it quite awkward for PDF. You're better off using a tablet. Or waiting for the next dx.
