PRS-950 PRS-950 loses page/book marks

I had a dozen or more books I was reading in the 950. Then out of the blue, on power it on, I noticed that it lost all the (auto) place markers, resulting in the need to manually go into each book and (try to) figure out where I was when I last left off each book. (The 950 never exhausted power, or encountered any other noticeable event that might have caused this.) Is there a way to prevent this in the future, or know what causes it to happen?

Sorry, I can't be much help, never happened to me.

Just as an attempt at troubleshooting - do you use the Reader Library software and do you have synch turned on? That has created problems with annotations - but not with bookmarks or position marks - to me in the past.

Latest firmware? All books, or only books from a certain source, or of a certain format? If you go through the same motions as when it happened the first time, can you make it happen again?
