Hello from the North!

Hello from Preston, Lancashire. I'm a reader/writer from the North. I wasn't aware this forum existed and stumbled upon it while surfing. Looking forward to delving into the forum archives and up to date discussions.

Yup, Stephen. When I was on the news staff there, it was still a page-heavy broadsheet. Tempus fairly fugits, eh? I hardly recognise the new versions of the old UK regionals and nationals I used to work for. All red top tab and fluff these days. The game's changed and is in its death throes, I'm afraid. Cheers. Yeah, even the old LEP building location has changed. It's now situated where once there was field and tree, bird and mouse. They're paving the greenbelt!
