Hi Joe and welcome to MobileRead.

My father's from Brooklyn and my mother's from Manhattan; so I tell people I'm the product of a mixed marriage.

When I was a kid I thought the world stopped at the Hudson River. And, you know, I still do.

You know, when people here (florida) ask me where i'm from, (and I've been here since '86), I say "Brooklyn". Their response is always, "Oh, on vacation?"
My answer...."Nah, I live here, but I will always be from brooklyn."
