No clue but I would let the Calibre dude know they are very good at fixing things. He probably will almost likley see your post and may reply to you .

Thanks.

It wasn't really urgent and this must be a very busy man.

I just deleted the Ver 8.9 .exe., then Ver 8.2 installed neatly over the lot.

Back in full operation and no tweaking of any kind required.

This is truly a great piece of software.

It truely is .. 8.2 doesnt fully support the touch btw... 8.8 was the current driver.. but if it works.. well done.

A fix is committed for next weeks release. However you are running an older version of the firmware. An immediate fix is upgrading the firmware

The best things you can do is to either post in the Calibre sub-forum here, in the Devices sub forum, OR open a bug report at https://bugs.launchpad.net/calibre .

Opening a bug report can help in that you can get a more focused approach from a dev who is familiar with the device and Calibre, as opposed to forum threads that can (as JackAstor will attest to) deviate.
